FAQs

  • What is "Remember We Met"?

It’s a referral-based dating experiment designed to bring real-world encounters and genuine social connections back into dating.

  • Why did I receive a card or profile link?

You may have received it directly from a Remember We Met member who wanted to show genuine interest, or it may have been shared with you by someone in their trusted network. In both cases, it’s an intentional introduction — a simple way of saying, “I think you might be a great connection.”

  • Is this person’s profile real?

That's entirely up to you. If you’re interested, you can choose to reach out — either using the contact info they provided directly, or by sending a message through their profile. If not, that’s okay too. RWM was designed to make introductions feel simple and pressure-free.

  • What happens next?

That's entirely up to you. If you’re interested, you can choose to reach out — either using the contact info they provided directly, or by sending a message through their profile. If not, that’s okay too. Remember We Met was designed to make introductions feel simple and pressure-free.

  • What if I receive a card but I'm not interested?

You're under no obligation. Treat it with kindness and discretion, just as you’d hope others would in return.

  • How do I respond or learn more?

If you are interested in connecting, you have two options:

    1. Reach out directly if they gave you their contact info, or

    2. Send a message through their profile.

Please note, a response isn’t guaranteed, but thoughtful messages are always more likely to spark a genuine conversation.

  • Do I need to subscribe to connect?

No. If you’ve received a card or link, you don’t need to join to respond. Membership is only required if you’d like your own profile and calling cards.

  • Will my information be shared if I send a message?

Viewing a profile does not share your personal information. If you choose to reach out, you are in control of what you share. Your contact information is only provided if you choose to reach out. Messages that cross the line of respect or decency can be reported by the member.

  • Can I share the link?

RWM is built on trust, respect, and real-world moments. If you received a card or profile, it’s because you made an impression in person. Please treat that invitation with the same care. If someone shared the link with you, the same manners apply. In short: be respectful. The world could use a little more of that.
